Someone Hacked Largest Taxi Service In Russia, Ordered All Available Taxis To the Same Location

According to Twitter user @runews, someone hacked the largest taxi service in Russia, Yandex Taxi, and ordered all the available taxis to an address on Kutuzovsky Prospekt. The tweet includes a video showing the traffic jam that this caused in the middle of Moscow. It's not known who was behind the attack. In a statement to SouthFront, the company said: "The security service promptly stopped attempts to artificially accumulate cars. Drivers spent about 40 minutes in traffic due to fake orders. The issue of compensation will be resolved in the very near future." The company stressed that in order to exclude such incidents in the future, "the algorithm for detecting and preventing such attacks has already been improved."
